AIOU Intermediate FA (General), I.Com and HSSC Darse Nizami Program Admission Criteria

  • It is prior requirement to get admission in any intermediate level program of AIOU that a student must has successfully passed at least Matric Level exam with compulsory courses i.e; English, Pakistan Studies and Islamiate) from a recognized board or university. Keep remember that admissions will not be granted if a candidate get Grade ‘F’ in any of the compulsory course of SSC level exam. 
  • You should attach attested photocopies of your Matric / SSC certificate otherwise admission will not be granted. Web-based print out of result will not be considered. Moreover students who passed their SSC exam from AIOU must attach provisional certificate or passing certificate because only on result card admission will not be permitted. 
  • Non-Muslim students will take admission in (Ethics) as a compulsory subject instead of Islamiat (Compulsory). Muslim student cannot opt Ethics and Non-Muslim students cannot opt Islamic Studies as a half credit course. Only one technical or professional course allowed taking in one time. 
  • Candidates having background of Sanwia Ama / Fazil Arabi / Urdu education required to produce (EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE) with the admission form issued by IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairman without it admission will not be granted as well. 
CRITERIA FOR HSSC DARS E NIZAMI PROGRAM 
  • It is prerequisite to have a pass certificate from the AIOU in Sanwia Aama and Matric General or Matric (Dars e Nizami) for candidates who are seeking admission in Intermediate Dars e Nizami (Sanwia Kasha) program of AIOU. HSSC Dars e Nizami is equal to 12 years of recognized education. 
  • Boys and Girls students who have passed required subjects of  their  Matric exam on the basis of SANWIA AAMA Degree only from HEC (Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan recognized Deeni Madaris are required to attach an Equivalence certificate that must be issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairman Office. In this regard only following Madaris are recognized by HEC:

    • Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Multan.
    • Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Alhe Sunnat, Jamia Naeemia Lahore
    • Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Salfia Alhe Hadith Faisaalabad.
    • Wafaq-ul-Madaris Shia, Jamia-al-Muntazar Lahore.
    • Rabita-ul-Madaris Al Islamia Lahore.
HEC Recognized individual Madaris
    • Jamia Islamia Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore
    • Jmia Taleemat-e-Islamia Faisalabad.
    • Jamia Ashrafia, Feroz Pura Road, Lahore.
    • Darul Uloom Mohammadia Ghousia, Bhera Sargodha.
    • Darul Uloom Karachi

      Allama Iqbal Open University does not grant admission to students if they got their Asnad other than above listed Deeni Madaris. 

      COMMON INFORMATION FOR HSSC (GENERAL), I.COM & DARSE NIZAMI PROGRAMS
      • Higher Secondary School Certificate program is equal to 12 years of Education and admissions made on SSC level 10 Years of education. 
      • HSSC program is a 4 semester program. Admission normally granted twice in a year in spring and autumn semesters. Every 6 month of studies is called a semester and student studies in the semester and solve assignments. In the end of each semester university take final exam
      • The University will take exam of some subjects that teach in the syllabus of deeni Madaris from the students of Dars e Nizami Group according to its pre-determined design and scheme of studies. University will not dispatch books to students of Deeni Madaris of such subjects which are already been teaching in the Deeni Madaris. However AIOU will send assignments to Deeni Madris students for all subjects and tutors will be appointed for the evaluation of the solved assignments
      • Admission will not be cancelled or fee will not be refunded once admissions get finalized and course material and books have been dispatched to the student. 
      • To get final HSSC Certificate student are required to pass in 8 Full Credits (FC) courses or courses equal to 8 credits. 
      • Higher Secondary Intermediate Program (General) students will required to pass 2 – ½ Credit hours COMPULSORY courses and 5 – ½ Credit hours OPTIONAL courses to complete 8 Full credit courses. 
      • Student can take 2 Full or 4 half credit courses or 1 Full or 2 Half Credit courses in a single semester. Two half credit courses are equal to 1 full credit course. 
      • Student who will be passed I.Com would be eligible take admission in B.Com, BBA and B.A (General) program
