Instructions for Admission

The open university Islamabad offers admissions in 02 semesters namely Spring and Autumn. But AIOU offers following admissions only once in a whole year i.e. Ph. D, M.Phil, M.Sc/MA and Teacher Education Programmes i.e. PTC, CT, B.Ed. , M. Ed. However functional courses and general academic programs offers twice a year in the Spring and Autumn semesters. Normally university offers admission on the following dates for the each semester:

Spring Schedule

Opening Month - 1st February / - Each Year

Closing Month - 25th February / - Each Year

Autumn Schedule

Opening Month - 1st August / - Each Year

Closing Month - 20th August / - Each Year
