04 Years BS (Chemistry) AIOU Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad

AIOU BS Chemistry program is equal to M.Sc Degree. Medium of instructions / study materiel is in English. Basically this is a regular program and classes conducted to provide face to face educational academic support to the enrolled students. A candidate who have F.Sc with Chemistry, DAE in Chemical Engineering or DAE in Chemical Technology or anyone who passed A level with Chemistry are eligible to apply for admission in AIOU B.S Chemistry Program. Final admission will given on merit basis and performance in a written test and interview.

Practicals of chemistry also the part of program and conduct in Workshops or labs equipped with latest equipment. AIOU BS Chemistry program is only offered in Islamabad region and as per planning of Allama Iqbal Open University BS Chemistry program will be extended and offered throughout Pakistan based on the availability of quality tutorial faculty and other logistics including laboratories and suitable spaces. There are total 8 semesters in BS Chemistry program of AIOU which is spread over 4 years.

BS Chemistry Study Material
Allama Iqbal Open University provides all necessary study Material including recommended books reprinted or compiled course. But there is no limit of study and improvement therefore students can also consult relevant books and other reading material to strengthen their knowledge.
AIOU BS Chemistry is regular Program
This program is related to science subjects and practical work is involved therefore for all Science subjects regular classes including practical work is consisted. BS Chemistry regular classes are conducted at Allama Iqbal Open University Main Campus Islamabad and 70% attendance is minimum requirement. Only non science subjects of BS Chemistry program which are compulsory including Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat and English have an option of distance learning but tutorial meeting of such courses also arranged at campus to discuss about these subjects questions and answers and concept building which obviously assist student to keep on track equally for all science and non science subject.
