Commonwealth Youth Program (CYP) Graduate Diploma (PGD) in “Youth in Development” - AIOU 2013

In Pakistan the Allama Iqbal Open University is only one institute that offerred Commonwealth Youth Program (CYP) Graduate Diploma (PGD) in “Youth in Development” through distance mode in collaboration with Commonwealth Youth Programme, Commonwealth Secretariat. CYP PGD diploma admissions  offerred by AIOU once in a year in spring semester.

Study Location

Presently univeristy is offering classes, tutorial meetings and workshops in Islamabad only.

There are following special topics that cover in this programme like Personality Development & Communication,Environmental and Health Issues, Gender in Development, Population and Family Life Education, Promoting Enterprise and Economic Development, Conflict Resolution, Management Skills. Eligibility Criteria

• CYP Diploma is a 1½ years programme which spread over three semesters. This program have15 Courses (45Credit Hours).
• A Candidate who have a at least 2nd Division Bachelor degree with minimum one year youth work track record with good English language writing and speaking skills are eligible to apply for admission in CYP diploma.

Diploma Admission proceedure

• Seats are limited therefore admissions will be strictly offered on merit basis.
• Project office will inform the selected candidates to deposit fee.
• Send admission form with paid challan and original admisison letter.

Diploma Fee Structure

• Rs.500 Per course (Rs. 2500 Per Semester) 
• Rs. 500 Admission fee
• Rs. 200 Registeration fee for one time only.
