M.Sc Forestry Extension AIOU - year 2013 Admission Criteria

Allama Iqbal Open University offeres admission once a year in MSc Forestry Extension. This is a two years programme consiting 4 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in M.Sc Forestry Extension

• Applicants are must possess a B. Sc or M. Sc Forestry degree withat least second division or B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture or M. Sc (Hons) Agriculture with at least second division from national or international recognized institutions 
• or 2nd division M. Sc or B.Sc in Botany including 03 years field experience in Forestry. 
• Selection will be made on merit basis. 
• Students will taught through Study Material, Assignments, Tutorial Support, Thesis, and Workshop. one thing is important to note that Workshop is a compulsory and it is conducted at the end of semester for 2 to 3 days for each course separately.

Compulsory Parts of Program

The workshop & Research Thesis are mandatory component of the program. Therefore attendance of the students in the workshop is compulsory. and definately final exams are compulsory.

Fee Detail for MSc Forestry Extension  

Only selected candidates will be required to deposit fee after confirmation of their admission as per the following rate:

• Registration Fee is Rs. 200 (on first time enrollment) 
• Admission Fee is Rs. 700 at the time of admission 
• Technology Fee is Rs. 100 Each Semester 
• Course Fee Rs. 3050- (each half credit course) & Rs. 6100/- (each full credit coruse)
• Workshop / Field visit fee Rs. 2340
• Dissertation Fee Rs. Rs. 12130
• Dissertation Evaluation Fee:Rs. 1560

The university will awarded M.Sc Forestry Extension degree on submission of dissertation.
