There are various famous programmes that AIOU offered each year and MLIS (Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) 2013) is one of them. Duration of MLIS is two years (Four Semesters). A person is fully eligible to apply for admission, who have a bachelor’s degree with any subject with the 2nd division (at least 45% marks) from a HEC recognized university. To explore the further detail please consult the related prospectus
Tutorial Classes Workshop are compulsoryPlease note that every student have to attend the Tutorial classes and workshops which will be held only in these cities i.e. Sargodha, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Karachi Bahawalpur, Multan & Peshawar.
45 Days Compulsory Internship
All students of final semester have to perform a 45 days internship with any library of the country to get first hand experience and report writing of his or her internship project.
