In Spring 2007 Semester Allama Iqbal Open University was taken BA, BBA B.Com, BS (CS/IT) B.Sc/Bachelor level final exams through various types of papers on different subjects, BA paper course code "404 Urdu" was one of them.

Key topics of the subjects need to study are Pitras Ki Maza Nigari, Mazmoon aur Inshaeya, "Drama Anar Kali", Ghalib, Iqbal Faiz Ahmed Faiz ke gazal aur nazam ki kasoosiyat, Urdu Adab main mukhtasar Afshany, Urdu Novel, Molvi Abdul Haq, Tanz o Mazaha, Film Khizar e Rah etc.
