Introduction of Prof Dr. Shahid Siddiqui as VC AIOU:
Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui is an educationist. President of Pakistan appointed the Prof. Dr. Shahid appointed on 3rd-October-2014 as VC of AIOU on the advice of prime minister of Pakistan.Education:
Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui passed his Ph.D. from the university of Toronto Canada in the field of Language Education. Obtained his M.Ed TESOL from the university of Manchester UK and took the degree of MA in English Language & Literature from the University of Punjab.

Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui has taught in very prestigious universities of Pakistan such as Aga Khan University, GIK Institute for Engineering Sciences & Technology, Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore School of Economics and nowadays Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui perform his duties as a Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Book/Novels of Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui:
Book Published in 2007 with title Rethinking Education in Pakistan Perceptions, Practices, & Possibilities. Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui published his urdu novel as Adhe Adhoore Khawab in 2009, another published of Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui with heading of Politics of Representation & Hegemony in South Asis in 2014.
Awards:
Dr Siddiqui possess awards, like US Embassy scholarship (Vermont), Canadian Commonwealth award (Toronto), Charles Wallace award (Oxford), British Council award (Manchester), Social Sciences Research Council award (Sri Lanka, India), and MTCP award (Malaysia).
