Allama Iqbal Open University is enormous university of Pakistan and playing a vital role in area of quality cheapest and convenient education for everyone. The university was established in 1974. Allama Iqbal Open University is one of the leading university of Pakistan and the maximum number of students take admission per year as compare to any other university of the country. AIOU is first Open University in Asia with strong prominence. AIOU providing distance education to students at their door steps with reasonable fee structure. AIOU offers programs in various disciplines from metric level to Ph.D level.
The study procedure of AIOU is contained on semester system. AIOU offer admission to the student of undergraduate and other major programs twice in a year during spring semester & during the autumn semester whereas graduate level programs admission offered once in a years by the admission department.

Professor Dr. Ali Asghar Chishti is presently working as a Dean of faculty, Faculty of Arabic & Islamic Studies is very significant education in Pakistan. The institute was established in 1974.
