Like in any program, there is also a set of criteria or requirements and interested candidates who meet these conditions or fulfill the predetermined criteria of admissions in B.A programs will be given admissions by the university. To know about the basic criteria for admission in Allama Iqbal Open University B.A (Gen Group), B.Com, BLIS or B.A (Dars e Nizami), you are required to read your prospectus however you can read the following groups information as well to aware about basic requirement for admission:

what is meaning of * or ** given with subject codes
"OR" given for two papers you can choose only one of them for example Islamiyat OR Ethics. There are some non-muslim students therefore they will take Ethics Instead of Islamiate. for further details in the same post click on "AIOU B.A Courses in Urdu".

Last date of admission in B.A of AIOU Islamabad is 02-09-2013. When you purchase prospectus the latest fee detail is given in it. There are total 8 credit courses in 4 semester program of B.A General program. Nisaf course means HC (Half Credit) and there are 4 HCs compulsory (Lazmi) Courses which complete only 2 FC (Full credits). For remaining 6 credit courses you have to choose from elective papers to complete all 8 credit course requirement.
No nisaf course mean half credit course. Mukamal course is equal to FC (Full credit course).
Get registered again with continuous B.A program. Admission is open till 2nd September 2013. You should contact your AIOU regional Office or visit AIOU Campus Islamabad or may be contact at Office of Bachelor Programmes admission on Telephone No. (051) 9057435. As per AIOU Examination department policy (Jo paper 3 bar lagataar fail ho jai us ka sara process new hota hy yani k ap ko aisay paper k lieya fresh admission form send karna hoga, dobara book ai gi, donon assignments dobara likni hon gi. I think k ab to autumn 2016 k admission b 21 October 2016 ko close ho gai the aur is paper ka admission ab Spring 2017 main ho sakta hy lakin ye meri rai hy. Apnay kisi b nazdeeki AIOU regional center par tashreef le jain wo sab maloomat day dain gay aur AIOU LLB program will be started soon as announced by the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui. To get admission in LLB you must have a B.A or equivelance Degree. So first do B.A from AIOU.
