AIOU offers overall 04 groups of AIOU Bachelor Degree programme. BA General Group is one of them and it is a most popular program among students. Further in B.A General Program itself has 07 different Groups and students can take admission in any one of the following groups according to their own interest, need, capacity and eligibility to complete their Bachelor Degree. There are following group name for the each program:

- B.A (Group-VII)
In B.A General there are two credit courses are compulsory whilst 06 other credits are based on students own choice and they can select these courses from the list of elective subjects. The University of AIOU offers admission to overseas Pakistanis in BA General Group program which is a part of General Education program of the university. Pakistani Candidates from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain can take admission in this program. All above listed courses are in Urdu language except 1423 and 1424 course codes. Both are in English and could not take in same semester in one semester student will required to pass 1423 and then they can take 1424. Moreover Course Code *402, *439, *447, *460, *462, *463, *470, *481 are offered in English language only. Admission in courses 466 and 467 will be given to those who already cleared 422 and 423 in previous semesters.
There are some certain rules and procedures to get admission in AIOU B.A Level Program. Admission will be granted only if you are fulfilling Admission Criteria in light of university instructions given in the prospectus. To get admission in any program from Matric to Bachelor level, you are required to download the Admission Form from the university website and fill it properly and attach all required documents and process the application as per instructions given in the form and prospectus. Keep in mind that the below two imporant points in admission process.
