AIOU HSSC F.A General I.Com (Intermediate in Commerce) for Overseas Students - Admission Criteria

Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad offers admission to overseas students in different group of Intermediate programs. All intermediate level programs are equal to 12 years of education. 

There are two types of Intermediate level programs are offered by the Allama Iqbal Open University for the overseas students. Every program have different subjects and course codes. Admission Criteria

• To get admission in intermediate programs of AIOU, a candidate have been passed Matric level exam and hold a Secondary School Certificate (SSC) equal to 10 years of Education from a recognized board or university. Further it must be ensured that you passed all compulsory papers in the Matric exam. 
• Admission will not permitted on certificates issued by schools or colleges. Therefore you are required to submit attested photocopies of Marks Sheet issued by an authentic Board / university with the admission form. 

Important Points after getting Admission

• Keep following important things in your mind once you given admission by Allama Iqbal Open University:
• The first thing is to select your group of interest carefully. Once you allotted I.Com, HSSC General group etc later will not be allowed to change.
• There are two types of credit hours. One is called full credit course and the other is known as half credit course. Each student has to pass 8 credit courses in four semesters. A student can take only 2 credit hours courses in each semester. For example he or she can take Two full credit course or one full credit and two half or all the 04 half credit courses.
• To get a final certificate of HSSC (F.A) I.Com, Intermediate level exam. Out of these eight credit courses 05 half credit courses are compulsory and other 05 and half credits can be selected from list of elective subject’s courses.

AIOU Fee Structure for Overseas

As per detail given in AIOU prospectus that could be easily download from official website of AIOU for Overseas students. After filling the form properly you are required to deposit the described fee in US dollars and take a bank draft equal to the fee in favour of the Treasurer, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. Please attach this original bank draft with your admission form.
