The Allama Iqbal Open University is a pioneer distance education institution in Asia. The university offers courses and educational facilities at the door steps of those who want to get education without leaving their homes and jobs.
University arranged a number of facilites to facilitate its students which includes books self-learning printed text and supplementary study material, teacher and students tutorial meetings only in Pakistan (Mode face to face), Television & Radio broadcasts, continue students assessment through assignments work in which nominated tutors evaluate students' assignments (in Pakistan only).
A final exam is also conducted by the university to evaluate students performance. Final examination is the compulsory activity to get final degree, diploma or certificate from university.Overseas Pakistanis final examination Exams normally held at Pakistan Embassy, Consulate General or in Pakistani school based abroad.
