PGD CS is one year programme. There are two semesters in the Post Graudate Diploma in Computer Science programme of AIOU. This course mode is online therefore a computer and internet connection will be helpful in this course study material including Multimedia CDs & Books provided by the University and are also available on website. In this program there will be online sessions in which students and teachers will interact and 70% attendance is compulsory. There are following subjects in PGD (CS) program:
Students are obligatory to attend 5-7 days workshop during each semester is also a part of this program. Candidates who have at least a Bachelor Degree with with minimum 2nd division from HEC recognize institution.

Credits hours written as 4(3+ 1) means 3 hours lectures and three hours supervised lab per week.
