AIOU Admissions Forms Filling Important Instructions and Guidelines

Allama Iqbal Open University General group and Dars e Nizami Group, Intermediate, B.A, B.Com, B.A Dars Nizami, Associate Degree in Commerce admission forms come with a detailed prospectus in Urdu languages which have all basic details including admission schedule, name of courses/subjects, fee structure, admission criteria, eligibility etc. Likewise admission form filling instructions are also given in prospectus. So keep in mind while filling the admission forms:

Above mentioned Urdu instructions are also explained in english. So read them thoroughly before filling your admission form.

1. Write name of your group on admission form in which you are interested to get admission. Group are Matric General and Dars e Nizami Group.
2. Registration fee is only required to deposit if you are getting admission in Allama Iqbal Open University. However admission forms should deposit along-with prescribed course fee in the nominated banks.
3. Required document's photocopies duly attested should attach with admission forms. Like Documents issued by Board, Detailed Marks Sheet which shows results of passed subjects, CNIC & Domicile attested copies are compulsory to attach otherwise admission will not be granted. 
4. Note Print of web-based results cards or documents will not be considered.
5. If any student passed secondary or higher secondary school certificate exam from Allama Iqbal Open University then must attached attested photocopy of Provisional Certificate/degree  issued by AIOU and note that admission will not be granted on Result card copies.
6.   Make it sure that you are depositing accurate amount of fee in nominated banks according to your program / course fee described in prospectus/admission form challan because admission will not be granted if less fee paid in the bank.
7. To complete a program/course in a due course of time, it is necessary for all students to deposit admissions forms of every semester (February & August) in the nominated banks.
8. AIOU send computerized admissions forms to all continuing students before starting of every new semester so they should fill it and deposit it with fee into bank. In case they not received that computerized admission form due to postal/courier problems then do not wait and just download the admission form from AIOU website or get it from AIOU local office and deposit it in banks as per same procedure described above to avoid any discontinuation or delay in studies. 
9. Admission form will not be accepted in case of any deficiency/incomplete admission forms due to to various reasons like less fee paid, not attested or unclear copies of certificates/degree or documents). These issues / objections will be communicated/highlighted to the student through letters and AIOU website as well in the end of semester. Students who remove/clear objections will be granted admissions in the next semester.
10. Its compulsory for students to clearly mention their postal addresses for correspondence. The university keeps this right to not allow admissions to those who given any care of or post box number addresses.
11. Admission forms along-with prescribed admission fee as per university procedure should be deposited only in nominated authorized banks. The admission fee through Bank Draft or Money order will not be accepted.
12. In case you not received books & admission information then must approach AIOU admissions Department along-with paid bank slip & admission form photocopy maximum up to 15th June for Spring Semester and 15th December for Autumn Semester. After these dates university is not bound to grant you admission in the current semester.
13. Check your books as per codes mentioned on the label and contact mailing section immediately in case of any shortage/problem. Moreover keep it in mind that change in matric course or FA course is Rs. 100 whereas for B.A Course fee is Rs. 250 which is only possible after paying this due fee and before the last date of first assignment. 
14. The Allama Iqbal Open University divided its education duration into six 06 months study time which is called a Semester. In these six months students study, write assignments, prepare for final exams and appear in the final exams.
15. In case of fake certificates/degrees not only admission will be cancelled besides the confiscation of paid fee and legal action will be taken by the university against defaulter.
16. Two programs admissions are not allowed in the same time period. In this situation the university will cancel admission of newly admitted program and its fee will be seized as well whereas student will be allowed to continue the old one program.
17. In case any student want cancellation of his or her admission then he or she must attach a photocopy of CNIC alongwith the application request. 
18. In case you not received information about your tutors or late nomination of tutors you should contact nearest study center of AIOU regional office or head of regional offices Islamabad.
19. Most important keep in mind that no private institution or person is authorized to collect admission forms or admission fee on behalf of Allama Iqbal Open University. So you should personally deposit fee and admission forms as per procedure and in nominated banks. Get a bank slip copy for your record. The university will not be responsible in case of any misleading wrong action in the admission form or bank fee matter and will take legal action if found guilty.
