AIOU Matric General Group Admission Criteria & Eligibility

Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad offers admissions in "Matric General Group program' twice in a year under Spring and Autumn Semesters. To get admission in this program a candidate required to fulfill the following mandatory conditions:

Matric Admission Criteria

• A student seeking admission in AIOU Matric (Gen Group) required to attach attested copies of Middle/Ninth Pass Certificate or Matric Fail Result Card which would issued him or her from a government school, approved school, or recognized board.

• After your admission is confirmed, then neither it will be cancelled nor fee will be returned or refunded. 
• The registration number of private school should printed on certificate in case of any private school issued it or the certificate must be attest/verify by the District Education Officer then verified /attested copy of that certificate should submit along-with admission form.
• Non-Muslim student will study Ethics (Compulsory) Subject instead of Islamiyat (Compulsory).
• A student must be at the age of 13 years minimum at the time of admission. 
• Madaris students of Sanwia Aama can submit admission forms for Secondary Sanwia Aama through their Madaris. In case Madarsa not send student nomination then the student can send his admission form by his own sources. In Matric Dars e Nizami Course student can get admission without middle school certificate. 
• IBCC equivalence certificate will be required to attach with admission form in case of a candidate have only Sanwia Aama / Fazil Arabi, Urdu etc education.
• Must attach Form B while sending admission form for Matric Dars e Nizami.
• Paste your latest picture with admission form. Admission form will not be accepted by university without picture.
• Student should properly write their name, father name, date of birth as per their Middle School Certificate. Admission will not be given on incomplete admission forms. Moreover clearly mention your complete and proper postal address.
