Matric Admissions in Allama Iqbal Open University Spring and Autumn Semester

To get admission in AIOU Matric (Secondary School Certificate-SSC) Program in Spring or Autumn Semester. Students should must know the following points including first of all purchase Prospectus Matric class prospectus which cost mentioned in prospectus from any sale point of AIOU, local area AIOU contact office or Regional Office. (View list of sale points district and taulka wise). The prospectus is printed by Allama Iqbal Open University Printing press Islamabad and can also be buy from main campus / regional campuses of university. 

Types of Matric Programs Offerred by AIOU

The Allama Iqbal Open University offers admission in the following programs of Matric or equal to Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Courses:

Important Details for Matric Admissions

• Admission form and bank challan will find inside the prospectus.
• Remember the last date of admission without a late fee. Check new admissions
• Allama Iqbal Open University Announced Matric Program admissions twice a year i.e. Spring admissions in February and Autumn Semester admissions in August.
• The announcement made in local newspapers, university websites, and social media pages of AIOU. See Matric Admission Advertisement (Urdu). 
• Admission to more than 02 credit hours courses in One Semester is not allowed by University.
• Already admitted students are called a "Continuing student".

Schedule of Spring /Autumn Admissions

• Spring Semester Admissions February to March books dispatch May to June, Study period June to September, Exams November to December, and Exam results in January to Feb.
• Autumn Semester Admissions August to September books dispatch November to December, Study period December to March, Exams May to June, and Exam results in July to August

• If you had registered in any program of AIOU then you should write the same (old) registration number otherwise university may be canceled your admission.
