AIOU to hold online workshops from next month

In view of COVID-19 pandemic, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is going to hold workshops of postgraduate students for semester Spring 2020 through an online learning management system (LMS) from next month.

This decision made to in awake of Coronavirus spread is aligned with government and HEC policies. Therefore instead face-to-face workshop meetings, online workshops would be scheduled throughout the country. Allama Iqbal Open University has launched an online learning management system (LMS) that will facilitate academic activities and will save students precious time. The students will be able to access a new virtual classroom to interact with their tutors through audio, video, and text support.

AIOU Digitalization Plan

The University vice Chancellor is taking very productive decisions like holding online workshops likewise AIOU will soon convert the exam, finance, academic activities and admission process into a complete digital management system which will facilitate 1.4 million students across the globe. The University already started Aaghi Learning Management System (LMS) for all Postgraduate programs and assignments etc.

The information on how to use LMS’s already shared with students in Rehname Tulaba and videos by Allama Iqbal Open University. Internet connection and a PC or laptop or a smartphone etc device is a prerequisite to avail of this opportunity.
